Adams Bros. Farms, Inc. – the California farm linked to the mysterious E. coli outbreak found in romaine lettuce – voluntarily expanded its recall this past week, in cooperation with the FDA, to include red leaf lettuce…green leaf lettuce…and even everyone’s latest favorite – cauliflower (in tots? mashed? made into pizza crust?). Adams said it issued the recall, for produce grown and harvested specifically between Nov. 27-30, “out of an abundance of caution” only. None of the aforementioned products – sold nationwide and in Canada – have yet tested positive for E. coli.
